Today, we launched a new feature to allow all users a nd hotel owners to become a fan of your favorite hotel.

You should do it to -

1. Identify with your hotel,
2. Influence the decision of other buyers (hotels with more fans will rank higher eventually) especially, your friends,
3. Let Hotel staff know that you like their work

and it's simple -

1. Sign in/Register with HotelsOutlook,
2. Find your hotel - Browse all hotels here or search for hotels in a city,
3. Click on 'Become a fan'

Hotel Owners, link to your hotel from your website/marketing collateral to get more fans and grow your business.

A year back, two of us started to build the next generation hotel meta-search engine. We had 3 very simple goals -

1. Largest Selection - Enable users to find any hotel in any city around the world. Reason - APAC and Eastern EU online travel market are exploding and current websites don't address the needs of emerging markets.
2. Best Rates - Get users the best deals for every hotel. Reason - Users fundamentally lack trust in prices shown on any website and tend to search multiple sites before booking. We want them to be able to get the best deals in one click.
3. Trusted Recommendations - Allow users to find hotels reviewed by their friends vs some John Doe. Reason - Read hoteliers view of reviews, trouble with online reviews and five star ratings on Youtube. If hotels have less than 20 reviews, chances are that they are manipulated. If there are in thousands, do you really want to read them all? Recommendation from a friend still holds a tremendous value and we want to enable that.

We are proud to announce that we have made significant progress in all 3 arenas. HotelsOutlook offers 270,000 hotels and saves money for users by comparing rates across 10+ companies. We have also integrated with Facebook to leverage user's connections (friends) to drive our recommendation engine. It is in early stages, so keep an eye out for what is coming next !
